Thursday, July 16, 2009 ( @ 7:53 PM ) fasted today. just ended fast awhile ago. Temptations Faced with quite a number of temptations today. surprised when i found myself hungry during the first period. oh my. by then, i was wondering how i was gonna survive this. resisted not to go canteen during recess in case i suddenly forgot i was fasting. after school, walked to tampines mart with pearlyn, isaac and jeremy hong. omg so tempted please. they bought chocolates, sweet drinks and MACDONALDS. it nearly killed me. nah just joking. HAHAS. plus i had gastric. but HS spoke to me "Just feed on the word of God" it really helped me to not think about those temptations but really focus on God's promises :) cause all that matters is God's word. life is really full of temptations, just rely on God that he will turn our eyes away from those worthless things by trusting in him. i will hand on tightly to Your promises :) 0 comments |
