Tuesday, November 25, 2008 ( @ 2:14 PM ) Day 1 the plane ride was boring and tiring. finally reached Korea after 7hours. we had to get a train before going to the custom,and thats cool. Dinner at some bbq restaurant. Many people ate alot. i heard that theres a group which ate 5 bowls of pork and many bowls of rice. its so fulling. after dinner, we checked into the 'hotel'. its quite small but comfortable. the things there are cheap too. i learned more about their culture during this trip. but i cant sleep till its 2am because of some noises , which i dun know what they are. Day 2 woke up at 6am to prepare everything. went down for breakfast. their food is quite okay.. went to Korea national museum, was quite tired at that time so didnt really absorb anything in. and its super cold! went shopping for 30min but i couldnt find anything that i like. at night, we headed for Incheon international high school. they were very friendly and greeted us whenever they saw us.their school is very big and i could just lose my way if i never follow my group closely. they prepared many performances for us and even "cold" jokes. my seniors also performed by singing a song. went their dormitory, which is quite big and cool as it can accomodate 4people in one room. went to bed at 12am after some chats with my room mates. Day 3 Went to one of the classrooms in IIHS do build a car with a mouse trap on it. they were very friendly and helpful and would try their best to help whenever i needed them. PE lesson was fun. the guys were having a tough time trying to catch up with the scores as the they were very cold. The girls were having a fun time throwing the ball :D but we lost to them, after all , we are from multi media club! After a nice lunch, we had Chinese and English lesson. it was quite interesting and the lessons were quite short. had star gazing after dinner. learned quite alot. enjoyed it very much. Day 4 It finally snowed! woke up and saw the trees and ground covered with snowed. took many pictures of me and snow after breakfast. saw the guys trying to build a snowman but failed. they ended up throwing snowballs at each other.Kiatkiong even said that he even tasted the snow as someone threw the snowball on his face. Did CIP in Korea airport. cleaned their toilet. quite weird experience but their toilets were very clean. after CIP, we headed for Seoul. Enjoyable experience Day 5 ay 5 is seriously messy but FUN. everyone woke up late! but everyone was still tired. the tour guide was sort of angry with us for now paying enough attention to her. in Gyeongbok Palace and National Folklore Museum. the teachers seemed to be extremely late when we went ther. went last minute shopping. bought 50k worth of seaweed. hahas. little did we realized that our plane was already almost 'flying' off. everyone rushed like ... we ran and ran and ran. caught the train, unfortunately, geng hao did not catch it. and it was already the last call. prayed hard that the plane wont fly off without my friends hahas. luckily their train came 2min later, which was actually enough time to catch it. but the seating arrangement was seriously weird as both Jerome and WanJing wanted to sit with me. and my usual self, which is blur, i forgot where i was supposed to sit.soon, everything was settled and the plane left for Singapore. had a fun plane ride. laughed a lotwith Jerome and Sofee :D due to some weird games which i totally had no idea how to play. reached Singapore and ate supper with family.
